Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Releases Special Manifesto for Gajuwaka Assembly Constituency

Andhra Pradesh IT minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Gajuwaka Assembly candidate, Gudivada Amarnath, introduced a specialized manifesto named 'Vijaya Varadi' for the Gajuwaka constituency in Visakhapatnam. This manifesto was carefully crafted based on input and feedback collected from the local residents to address long-standing issues that have been overlooked for years. Amarnath emphasized the importance of gathering public opinions and launched a website on 'Ugadi Day' to facilitate this process.

During a presentation, Amarnath highlighted the key points of the manifesto, including the focus on improving infrastructure, tackling traffic congestion, providing skill training opportunities for the youth, and creating employment prospects for the locals. He also stressed the need for constructing foot-over bridges, establishing coaching centers for students, fostering MSME development, and building a flyover from old Gajuwaka to Srinagar to enhance connectivity in the area. In his efforts to compile this manifesto, Amarnath engaged with diverse groups within the Gajuwaka constituency, representing a population of 4.5 lakhs with 3.30 lakh eligible voters, including intellectuals, educators, and retired government officials.

Gajuwaka, being the second-largest constituency in Andhra Pradesh, has been grappling with pollution issues stemming from the growing presence of pharmaceutical and other industries in the region. Amarnath, who previously served as an MLA from the Anakapalle constituency following the 2019 elections, aims to bring about positive changes and address pressing concerns through his 'Vijaya Varadi' manifesto. The upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh scheduled for May 13 will be crucial, with the YSRCP eyeing to maintain its dominance in the political landscape as seen in the previous elections where they secured a significant majority of seats.
