Farmers at the outskirts of Jammu are navigating the challenges of harvesting wheat crops amidst the scorching heat, highlighting the harsh conditions they are enduring during this crucial time. Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the State Disaster Management Authority has issued warnings about expected heat waves in 227 mandals, with 58 facing severe heat waves and 169 witnessing regular heat waves.

R. Kurmanadh, the managing director of APSDMA, emphasized the need for precautions as specific districts like Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and others are likely to face intense heat waves. The districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvatipuram Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, and several others are mentioned as locations where heat waves are predicted, with varying levels of severity mentioned. Kurmanadh urged residents to limit outdoor activities between 11 am and 4 pm, acknowledging the risks posed by the extreme temperatures and advising people to stay indoors during peak heat hours.

With temperatures soaring high in various districts, such as Gospadu, Bandi Atmakuru, Ardhaveedu, Chinnacheppali, Veepinapi Akkamambapuram, and more, the heatwave poses challenges not just to farmers but to the general population as well. The heatwave conditions call for heightened awareness and precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of individuals during this hot spell.
