Entod Pharmaceuticals, a Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company, has announced the development of the world's first human insulin eye drops, EyeSulin, designed to treat corneal eye conditions. The company plans to initiate the regulatory approval process in India, seeking approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for clinical trials and subsequently from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for commercialization.

Upon regulatory clearance, the company aims to produce EyeSulin under the Make in India initiative, making it accessible and affordable both in India and globally.
